Nearly all MAF veterans who receive BSH aid are non-pensionable — Minister

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 — Some 97 per cent or 8,730, of the 9,000 Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) veterans who receive the monthly Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) aid of RM300 are those without a pension, the Dewan Rakyat was told today.

BSH recipients can claim funeral expenses up to RM1,000 - Abdul Rahim

KOTA KINABALU, July 2 — Recipients of the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) aid can get funeral expenses assistance of up to RM1,000, said Deputy Finance Minister I Datuk Abdul Rahim Bakri.
